The Ohio State Buckeyes were able to take care of business once again today, this time defeating Marshall by a final score of 49-14. Despite a sluggish start, Ohio State was able to pick up steam in the second half and roll to their third straight dominant win.

Currently two offensive plays into the game, Egbuka is the leading receiver with one reception for a 68-yard touchdown and the Buckeyes are tied with the Thundering Herd with plenty of time left on the board. Check out the highlight of the touchdown below.

Ohio State Buckeyes' Emeka Egbuka showed off ELITE speed in ELECTRIC 68-yard TD to tie the game against Marshall.

The Ohio State Buckeyes fell behind the Marshall Thundering Herd early, but wide receiver Emeka Egbuka quickly changed that. Egbuka caught a bubble screen pass from quarterback Will Howard, found some great blocking and then exploded down the middle of the field for a 78-yard touchdown.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — On its opening drive Saturday, Marshall went 75 yards on 13 plays to score the first touchdown allowed by Ohio State football this season.

Catching a quick screen pass off the arm of Will Howard, Egbuka picked up road-clearing blocks from Josh Fryar, Seth McLaughlin and Gee Scott Jr., got an escort from Carnell Tate and dashed 68 yards untouched to the end zone.
